Bucks County 07-3-02 Magisterial District Court

Bucks County Magisterial District Court 07-3-02 is located in Jamison. Have you received a notification to appear in this court? If so, it’s likely a summons for a bench warrant, traffic citation, preliminary hearing, preliminary arraignment, or a non-jury trial. When you appear in this court, you’ll appear before Jean L. Seaman, Magisterial District Judge.

Jamison is a suburban town located on Route 263. And the Magisterial District Court located there covers election districts Warwick Township and Warrington Township.

The Jamison Magisterial District Court is a minor court, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take it seriously. The court in Jamison is responsible for deciding all non-traffic and traffic citations.

Bucks County Pennsylvania: Magisterial District Courts
Preliminary arraignments and preliminary hearings for criminal cases are handled in Bucks County Magisterial District Courts. Civil cases with less than $8,000 in damage claims and landlord/tenant disputes up to $8,000 are also handled in Bucks County Magisterial District Courts.

Summary offenses are Pennsylvania’s least serious offenses, and they are also handled in Bucks County Magisterial District Courts. Examples of these less serious offenses include criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, harassment, underage drinking, and driving with a suspended license. First-time shoplifting charges of items less than $150 are handled in this court as well.

Bucks County has 20 Magisterial District Courts. Criminal cases start in one of these district courts before reaching the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.

Every year, 130,000 cases are handled in the Bucks County district courts. Out of those 130,000 cases, 10,000 of them are criminal cases.

Criminal cases in Bucks County start in Magisterial District Court. Felony cases and misdemeanor cases both begin with preliminary arraignments and hearings. The Bucks County Court of Common Pleas is the next step for felony and misdemeanor cases.
